Like many of us, the lockdowns of 2020 left JB and Peter feeling stuck, and they longed for a way to reconnect... with nature, with purpose, and with each other. That longing led them to cycle from Red Deer, AB to Ottawa, ON, a journey that combined adventure, charity, and the spirit of resilience during uncertain times.

Inspired by the success of that first ride, JB and Peter committed to making cycling a yearly tradition—one that would challenge their limits, ignite inspiration in others, and champion meaningful causes with every kilometer traveled. To date, they've pedaled over 30,000 kilometers across North America.

This year, they’ve embarked on their most ambitious route yet: from the sun-drenched shores of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to the wild, majestic reaches of Homer, Alaska. It’s a journey of extremes—heat to cold, desert to forest, sea to sky—but what fuels them isn’t just the landscape, it’s the people.

Over the years, JB and Peter have discovered that the most unforgettable moments come from the heartfelt connections they’ve made along the way. Whether in a small village or a bustling town, people have consistently opened their hearts with kindness.
